It seems that Honda was true to its word and the brand new CR-V crossover is indeed launching in the US as planned, as he contender is hitting dealers’ lots as we speak. The full pricing information has also been revealed today, and the bad news is that the Japanese automaker has decided to increase not only the number of standard features, but also what it asks in return.
Prices for the 2012 Honda CR-V start at $22,295 for the bottom of the range LX with front wheel drive, not including the destination charge of $810 per vehicle. Honda admits that it has added between $181, but they say that you’ll get much more value out of it than before.
The car which made its debut at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show is powered by a 2.4-liter i-VTEC capable of delivering 185 via a five-speed automatic gearbox.
