We probably said it before, but we'll do it again: we're just crazy about all motor vehicles. Wait, that doesn't sound right. We meant to say all motor V8s, like this 1968 Mustang or this awesome 9-second Fox-body, not the 2014 Mitsubishi Mirage.
You guessed it folks, we're back with more all motor action from the drag strip. This time, however, we won't be showing you a Ford Mustang, but a Pontiac G8. Ya know, the rebadged Holden Commodore that was sold in the states in 2008 and 2009, just before Pontiac got the axe.
Why is this G8 so special, you may ask? Well, it need less than 11 seconds to run the quarter mile although there's no turbocharger or nitrous under the hood. It a naturally-aspirated V8 mill that has been tweaked by the same guys that's driving it using a set of Camaro headers and a Lunati cam, among other upgrades.
And the results are spectacular with the G8 being able to pull a quarter mile run in 10.79 seconds at 130 miles per hour (209 km/h). Is this a cool four-door sedan or what?
