I wonder what Sherlock Holmes would say about the aficioando who configured the Porsche 911 GT2 RS that brought us here. Meanwhile, any normal person can tell you that the gear head has a thing for a little color called Blue.
For starters, the 700 horsepower masterpiece comes dressed in Albert Blue. And while we're talking about a color from the Paint To Sample collection, that doesn't set it apart on its own (just check out another AB Neunelfer behind the link).

However, the devil is in the details with this one. For instance, Albert Blue is also used for the wheels, while the banana-colored calipers, which signal the presence of carbon-ceramic hardware, create a start contrast.

Those model designation decals on the doors? They come in Gulf Blue, while the use of CXX options means blue leather is one of the materials that adorn the cabin (make sure to use the swipe feature of the Instagram post below to take a peek at the interior of the rear-engined coupe).

I've saved the best for last, namely the blue-tinted carbon fiber. The wonder material can be found on multiple elements of this GT2 RS, from the frunk lid and the door mirrors (little window triangle and all), to the rear wing (don't forget the Porsche script, though) and the engine cover, where those hungry air intakes are.

In fact, I've intentionally left out one of the blue CF elements I noticed on the car, so you can check it out below.

And no, I'm not refering to the fact that the Porscha mixes the Weissach Package with the "standard" wheels (think: not the ultra-light magnesium units) - given the level of sophistication displayed by this spec, the owner probably has both wheel types. Perhaps this 2RS was part of the campaign that saw Porsche delivering free wheel sets to owners of vehicles that had been configured with magnesium units due to a supplier-caused delay for the latter.

Oh, and in case you're wondering, the machine was caught on camera in Los Angeles.
