Alfa Romeo’s Centenary celebrations will continue to thrill automotive enthusiasts throughout the year, with the next event to be included on the list being the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California.

The Italian brand will be the featured marque of the 60th edition of the event, which will be held on Sunday 15 August 2010.

A long list of special Alfa cars will be present. Alongside many exquisite, privately owned vehicles, Alfa will bring many historic vehicles from the Museo Storico Alfa Romeo in Arese Italy. A total of seven Alfa Romeo Museum cars will be exhibited: starting from the first Alfa, the 1910 24hp, to the extreme 152 Disco Volante spider.

Other “creme de la creme” Alfas attending include the RL Targa Florio, the winner of the 1923 Targa Florio and the first Alfa Cloverleaf badge, the Gran Premio Tipo A, the carmaker’s first singe-seater race that won the 1931 Coppa Acerbo and its successor, the Tipo B (P3) that included an aerodynamically tweaked version, which won the IV Internationales Avusrennen in 1934 at an average speed of 128 mph.

Alfa has also joined hands with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to co-celebrate the 1938 Gran Premio Tipo 158 Alfeta - the vehicle is reaching its 60th anniversary, that of the first Formula One World Championship race, an event in which the Grand Prix racer took the first, second and third place.

In addition to that, the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900 Lungo will also be present at the event. We are talking about a coupe that won the 1947 Migle Millia.

Here is the complete list of Alfa Romeo Museum Cars to be showcased at the event:
  •   A.L.F.A. 24 HP, 1910
  •   RL Targa Florio, 1923
  •   Gran Premio Tipo A, 1931
