The legendary Quadrifoglio Verde that defined Alfa Romeo’s top performance cars since 1923 is now back, being resurrected by the 2014 Giulietta model.
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and along with the new milestone it comes in the new Quadifoglio Verde spec, a true expression of the automaker’s DNA.

14th edition Targa Florio champion Ugo Sivocci drove the first Quadrifoglio Verde in 1923. It was the RL model and since then, all racing Alfas have carried the cloverleaf emblem for good luck, ensuring its world recognition. Then, starting with the ‘60s, the symbol begun to appear in road-legal Alfa Romeos too, as part of performance enhancing special packs.

The 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Qadrifoglio Verde gains the same powertrain from the sweet 4C model, consisting of a 240 hp turbocharged gasoline engine with all-aluminum direct injection which is mated to Alfa’s state-of-the-art TCT 6-speed twin dry clutch transmission. The setup enables the hatch to reach over 240 km/h and ca accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds.

More special features for the special Giulietta include new steering wheel, new instruments with dedicated graphics and QC logo, leather/Alcantara sport seats with built-in headrests as well as a new matte Magnesio Grey body finish that was exclusively created for the Launch Edition special series limited to only 500 units.

The new Quadrifoglio Verde Giulietta will be available starting this May, along with the MiTo model coming with the same special pack.
