Alfa Romeo Giulietta, Priced at 20,300 Euros

Italian manufacturer Fiat removed the shroud which surrounded the pricing information for its Alfa Romeo Giulietta model, with the car starting at 20,300 euros for the base version and going to as much as 29.000 euros for the Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio. In between, the top of the regular range Giulietta will retail for 23,700 euros.

The new addition to the Alfa Romeo lineup will make use of a standard Start&Stop function for better fuel economy and lower CO2 emissions: two petrol engines (1.4TB – 120 HP and 1.4TB MultiAir – 170 HP) and two diesel engines (1.6 JTDM – 105 HP and 2.0 JTDM – 170 HP, both belonging to the second generation of JTDM engines). The range is completed with the exclusive 1750 TBi – 235 HP with Quadrifoglio Verde configuration.

The car, which will take the place of the 147 model in one of Europe’s most important segments, boasts the new interpretation of the classic Alfa grille, similar to the one on the MiTo, the front headlights with LED technology and Daytime Running Lights (DRL) function for maximum safety, a new rear end design and rear light clusters with LED technology.

The Giulietta will be on display at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed, in between July 2nd – 4th, making for the first appearance of the car on UK soil. The Giulietta will also be featured in the Goodwood “Moving Motor Show” on July th 1st, offering enthusiasts the chance to drive it up the Goodwood Hill.
