Hitting the Nurburgring in an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio sounds like the stuff of dreams. After all, this Italian beast has it all, from a Ferrari-designed engine to a Nordschleife production sedan lap record. We've brought along a piece of footage that shows just how tricky playing the Green Hell game can be. The clip, which can be found at the bottom of the page, shows the driver of such a 510 hp Alfa hitting the Ring under heavy rain.

The aficionado behind the wheel takes advantage of the soaking wet track, allowing the back to step out. The shenanigan takes place in the Brunnchen 2 corner, one of the most popular bends as far as YouTubers are concerned and involves more than one lap. Heck, the generous gravel trap at the exit of the bend talks about the dangers of this twist.

However, at a certain point, the slip angle of the super-sedan became too much, with the car falling into the oversteer pit. Despite the driver's best countersteer and throttle balance efforts, the twin-turbo saloon spun.

Fortunately, the Giulia Q didn't get off the track, so it managed to avoid the dreaded guardrail kiss. And with no other car being close to the Alfa Romeo at the time when the spin took place, the problem stopped there.

We'll use this occasion to remind you that drifting is forbidden during Nurburgring Touristenfahrten (Tourist Days) events, all for obvious safety reasons.

If you happen to be in a hurry, you should know that the Giulia Quadrifoglio moment we discussed above awaits you at the 6:17 point of the video. Nevertheless, the rest of the clip is also worthy of your attention, showcasing plenty of uber-wet track moments.
