Don't you guys ever wish Alfa Romeo would stop making all those little MINI Cooper rivals and start making real car for… men.
So what should they start with? Well, something like this: the revisit of the Disco Volante, Italian for flying saucer. We think it's got the sort of looks that will make any millionaire reach for his wallet and the sort of brutal engine sound that will make any lady passenger fell like a Bond girl.
The Disco Volante is based on the 8C Competizione and utilizes the same 4.7 liter V8 engine. This is car #1, the only one there is, hand-crafted by Touring Superleggera over a period of 4,000 hours spanning six months. It will go from 0 to 62 mpg in only 4.2 seconds and puts our hairs on end like the wolves in the Old Spice commercial (see the last video below to figure that joke out)!
As a small side note, we're going to play a guessing game with you guys. Can you figure out where the headlights came from? Yep, Ferrari 599.
