Rumor has it the roadster version of the Alfa Romeo 4C sportscar will be introduced during next year’s Geneva Motor Show. According to Automotive News, the model will be sold as the 4C Spider and will feature an easy-to-remove carbon fiber roof.
A previous report coming from Auto Edizione claimed the open top 4C sportscar will also gain a redesigned interior and new headlamps, but nothing is official so far. The 4C Spider will be powered by the same turbocharged 1.75-liter four-cylinder engine that’s rated at 240 horsepower.
As a reminder, the Alfa Romeo 4C will arrive in US showrooms starting from $54,000, while UK customers will be able to purchase the vehicle for at least GBP45,000. The sportscar is available in six exterior colors and 17-inch to 19-inch wheels, and many other features as revealed by its online configurator.
