Alfa Presents Giulietta Mosaic

As you know, 2010 is a special year for Alfa Romeo, as it marks the Italian brand’s centenary. The automotive producer has offered itself and the world a large number of birthday presents and now the company is introducing a new one. Alfa romeo is presenting the Giulietta Mosaic, which has been created by using thousands of photos from Alfa owners, historic stills from film, TV and famous motorsport adventures.

The special piece of art portraits the latest Alfa Romeo model, the Giulietta hatch. The five-door vehicle was launched this summer and is now in the race for a top spot in the hatch segment, the most important one on the European market. The artwork was unveiled on a billboard in Chelsea, UK.

"This piece of artwork communicates the brand in its centenary year extremely well,” said Damien Dally, Brand Communications Manager, Alfa Romeo. "Creating our latest Giulietta model from hundreds of images sent in by fans of the brand and from our heritage really sums up what Alfa Romeo is all about. Not only does the final outcome look fantastic, it also a great piece of memorabilia to mark this special year.

Alfa Romeo initially launched a high profile advertising campaign for the Giulietta, which involves Uma Thurman. Now, the company is introducing this mosaic as a twist. To mark the contribution made by the thousands of owners who submitted memories of their Alfas for the project, the image comes with the “We Are Giulietta” line.
