It's a dream come true for Aleix Espargaro, the 2013 CRT/ Open Class MotoGP champion: he was offered the opportunity to run a CEV Repsol (Campeonato de España de Velocidad) team, and he decided to accept it.
The CEV Repsol was the very championship Aleix Espargaro raced in back in 2004 in the 125cc class, the same year he made it into the world series, only to become a full-time rider there the next year.

With such emotional charge, it looks like Aleix is really keen to make it big in the CEV Repsol as a team organizer, as well. The team will be comprised of two riders: Gabriel Rodrigo and with a team mate sill to be confirmed.

The goals are no lesser than winning the championship and possibly having at least one of these two riders s a wildcard in a World Championship race. Both riders will be using KTM bikes, similar to what Alex Rins and Alex Marquez used this year.

Aleix has switched teams for the next two seasons, from Power Electronics Aspar to NGM Mobile Forward Racing.

Valentino Rossi is also starting his manager career with a Moto3 team.
