Slovenian aftermarket specialist Akrapovic is known for making some of the finest motorcycle exhausts on the market, being a brand preferred by both race teams and on-road sportbike riders. Now, Bike Exif informs the company got involved in the development of a marketing custom chopper.

Developed together with the Slovenian compatriots Dreamachine Motorcycles, the Morsus chopper that you can see in the adjacent images uses an 1,852cc S&S motor developing 114 horsepower through its modified Akrapovic exhaust pipe. All that power is diverted through a six-speed manual cog-swapper.

Aside from the slightly modified exhaust, the Morsus also sports other eye-popping features, including 26-inch carbon wheels, 3D triple trees and teardrop mirrors.

The Akrapovic Morsus custom chopper is designed to raise interest on the company's newly launched cruiser-inspired exhaust systems and air filters, which will rival the likes of established brands in the aftermarket sector, such as Leo Vince, Vance and Hines, Hooker Pipes, Bessani, Rush, Arlen Ness, Rinehart, S&S Cycles, Supertrap and more.

“This project was a big challenge for me. I admire the work of Igor Akrapovi very much and I wanted to put together two motorcycle worlds, racing and custom. I followed also an idea of special cycle chrono bike on 26 inch wheels, which was quite challenging, but I’m quite happy with the final result as the body of the bike from many angles looks like a Scorpion,”
said Tomaz Capuder from Dreamachine Motorcycles.

Unfortunately, the Morsus is not for sale. However, you can catch a glimpse at it at a number of custom oriented events throughout the world this year.
