There's good news on its way for the Can-Am fans: BRP, the group manufacturing the Can-Am Spyder 3-wheelers, announced that revered exhaust Slovenian producer Akrapovic will be their official parter.
This means that Akrapovic's awesome mufflers will soon be available through the Can-Am dealer network, ready to perfectly fit the Spyders and increase the performance. Akrapovici will supply two exhaust systems, the Sport Touring and the Sport one, both complying the emission and noise regulations in North America and Europe.
The two Akrapovic exhausts are made in premium titanium alloy shells and come with carbon fiber tips, easily mountable instead of the stock mufflers. The silencers are compatible with all the three Can-Am series (Spyder RS, RT and ST) and are 55% lighter than the standard ones, not to mention they only look hundreds of times better. Prices are yet to be announced, so stay put.
