By far one of the best-known name in aftermarket motorcycle exhausts, Akrapovic, will be present in the 2014 Dakar enduro rally equipping both bikes and cars.
The MonsterEnergy X-Raid Team and their Mini All4 Racing cars will share the red scorpion on their exhausts with the biggest names in motorcycle history.
While Akrapovic has been a long-time partner of the the KTM Factory team with its extraordinaire Despres and Coma duo, the former, a 5-time champion, will also use Akrapovic exhausts on his Yamaha machine.
Despres' team mates will also run with Akrapovic exhausts, alongside several other private teams' riders.
The 2014 Dakar kicks off on 4 January 2014 in Rosario, Argentina and will end on 18 January 2014 in Valparaíso, Chile, with almost 40% of the car and motorcycle routes being separate, and reaching Bolivian territory for the first time.
