As expected, the guys from Akrapovic are amongst the first aftermarket exhaust manufacturers that announced a custom exhaust system for BMW's new 4 Series. As usual, they went for the top-end model, the 435i.
Since the engine is the same as in the F30 335i model, the only problem they had to solve was the trajectory it would have under the body of the car. Since the 4er is lower and wider than the 3er Sedan, this posed some problems.
Even so, a couple of weeks after the official launch of the 4 Series and almost immediately after deliveries started, Akrapovic already has an Evolution Exhaust ready for your 435i.
Their take increases the HP levels by approximately 7 HP and 11 Nm of torque (8 lb-ft), taking the total numbers up to 313 HP and 411 Nm (308 lb-ft) and transforming the 3-liter turbo engine into a more agile beast. Last but not least, the sound has been improved, as you can see in the video below.
