AHG Sports doesn’t have a lot of history behind it, being just 5 year old at the moment but they have been part of the in-house tuning department of Günther that specializes in ... Infiniti cars, of course. Therefore, their new efforts have been coordinated with Larte Design to bring out a competitive offer for the market of Infiniti enthusiasts.
That’s also why this is all looking so familiar. The QX70 in these photos wears the LR3 widebody kit that is comprised of a new front bumper with daytime running lights, new side skirts and fender extensions that go all around. There’s also a new rear bumper that has F1 rear fog lights (you’ll notice them, don’t worry) and encompasses the tailpipes of the modified exhaust.

Of course, it all looks extreme but that’s just on the visual/appearance front. The thing is, there’re more than meets the eye to this car. Under the skin you’ll find 25 mm lowering springs along with a new set of wheels, wheel spacers and a tuning kit for the engine.

With it, the 5-liter V8 under the bonnet goes up to 420 HP from the stock 400 thanks to both a remapped ECU but also a new exhaust (that also comes with a price). Altogether, the car you see in the adjacent pictures costs €101,500 including destination charges and VAT. However, you can get the parts individually, for the following prices:

  • - AHG lowering springs - €1,250
  • - AHG 22” wheels (including tires) - €5,200
  • - wheel spacers - €500
  • - AHG Performance increase - €1,250
  • - Sports Exhaust - €4,990
  • - red-painted motor cover - €200
  • - roof rails, door handles and radiator grill in gloss black-paint - €1,150
  • - chrome strips - €800
  • - painted radiator grille - €600
  • - LR3 widebody kit (including installation) - €16,900

Now that’s about it and, considering the starting price of the QX70 that’s around €70,000, that’s a hefty increase of roughly €30,000. Is it worth it?
