The Pista GP is the newest road/ racing helmet from AGV, and here are some nice facts about it. After initially presenting the carbon fiber version, AGV surfaced the Rossi color scheme. Well-known for his bright and colorful color choices, Valentino Rossi keeps true to himself with the new design, as well.
Some might really hate the new scheme, but hey, nobody is forcing anyone into getting one, and you can go for the carbon helmet at any time. We can't say we fell in love with it, but we definitely don't hate it.

The new Pista GP helmet takes where the old GP-tech left. It comes with significant enhancements and a price to match: $1,300 (roughly €1,000). The new AGV flagship blows the old GP-tech out of the water with the 1250 gram (more than 250 g lighter) weight and almost double ventilation capacity.

At the same time, the Pista GP comes with 9% visual field increase, 36% less G-force transmitted to the head and thanks to having scanned Rossi's head, the new helmet has been designed from the inside out. The Pista GP comes with 4 shell sizes and 4-way adjustable comfort liner for a perfect fit.

Covers for the vents are also provided for bad weather and a visor locking system has also been implemented. The AGV Pista GP is available in Europe only for now, but will certainly cross the pond after receiving the DOT certification.
