Helmet manufacturer AGV has recently partnered with renown lifestyle brand Diesel for the development of a new helmet model that takes inspiration from the ones worn by helicopter pilots. Dubbed Hi-Jack, the new helmet has a design made by the Diesel creative theme, while benefiting from AGV’s performance know-how.

The curved polycarbonate visors with non-scratch treatment in transparent, smoke and silver are easily interchangeable, thanks to a system that allows removal without tools and can be adapted to the needs and style of each and every rider.

HI-JACK benefits from particular attention-to-detail - an ACF fibreglass shell, and internal padding in completely washable and removable sanitizing Dri-Lex fabric.

Available from the end of June, the HI-JACK comes in the following colours in sizes from XXS to XL: black/white/SK-Y 78, black/green, grey/black matt, white/stripes colour variants from £175. Gold/chrome/digit, silver/chrome/black variants are available from
£200. The range of chromatic variations in the graphics reinforce the helicopter spirit at the heart of the Hi-Jack.

“The international lifestyle brand Diesel and historic helmet producer AGV - a protagonist the motorcycle market for more than 60 years - have teamed up to create the HI-Jack helmet, which is inspired by helicopters and dedicated to fans of custom-built equipment and riders who love life on the road,
” a company statement reads.

“Designed from models of helmets worn by real helicopter pilots, the Hi-Jack is the ideal choice for riders who insist on a high quality product with true Diesel style – rebellious, fresh, unconventional.”

The Italian design company is also the title sponsor for Ducati in the 2011 MotoGP series. The Diesel logo is placed n the bikes’ fairings and tailpieces, and on the sleeves of the race suits and clothing worn by Ducati Marlboro Team’s riders Valentino Rossi and Nicky Hayden.
