The 2018 Porsche 911 GT2 RS we have here comes dressed in what can be labeled as an unusual color. We're referring to Agate Grey Metallic, which accentuates the understated aura, thus balancing the extrovert, aero-dictated design of the 2RS.
You see, Agate Grey isn't a special color in general. In fact, this is a standard color for the non-GT Neunelfer lineup, as well as for the GT3. Nevertheless, if you're willing to cover your GT2 RS in it, you'll have to turn to the Paint To Sample palette.
And the social media-based Porsche registry that brought this Neunelfer to our attention even dropped a bit of background on the hue.
"It is also interesting to see that this owner picked Agate Grey for the 2RS, because it is a stark contrast to the owner’s previous car - a PTS GTS Red 991.1 GT3 RS (with reg plate “B7 VVF”). Like the 3RS, I speculate this car will be seen not only in Switzerland, but also around Monaco and the Netherlands (where this car was delivered in), so keep your eyes peeled for this," we are being told.
Note that this Rennsport Neunelfer comes in full Green Hell trim. That's because the thing packs the Weissach Package, as well as the magnesium wheels, with the latter coming in a White Gold finish that creates a strong contrast.
While we're talking optional extras, we'll mention that the Porscha also comes with all-LED headlights and full bucket seats.
We'll start with a Dolphin Grey example, which pays homage to the 356 via its color. As for the second, this is a Willow Green example and the color ties it to the... Beetle.

Here's another special 991.2-generation Porsche 911 GT2 RS for you
Actually, you can scrap that, as we'll remind you of two Rennsport Neunelfers we showed you earlier today, with both being the first of their kind. We'll start with a Dolphin Grey example, which pays homage to the 356 via its color.
