Michigan-based company American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) will be introducing a brand new pickup truck concept at the 2013 SEMA Show later this week.
Based on the 2014 Ram 2500 Crew Cab Diesel, the truck was developed to fill the “void in the industry for customers who require a vehicle that is very capable off-road, has exceptional handling characteristics and ride quality but also has a large cargo capacity and is able to satisfy the demands of a heavy towing.”

All told, the AEV Ram Concept Vehicle features new suspension system that provides a three-inch lift, 40-inch tires and a stamped steel front bumper that’s able to support a 16,500 lbs winch. Other modifications include heavy duty shackle mounts, optimized suspension geometry, custom-tuned shocks and a High Steer Kit that corrects steering geometry and provides precision steering.

More details on the AEV Ram Concept Vehicle can be found in the press release uploaded below.
