AeroVironment Partners with Milbank

The more EVs get on the road, the bitter the battle between electric vehicles charging solutions providers is likely to get; in this new competitive segment of the market, it will be the offer that will dictate the winner of the biggest market share.

AeroVironment, one of the biggest players on the market, will get an extra edge thanks to the new contract signed with Milbank Manufacturing, a producer of charging stations for residential, commercial, industrial, utility and transportation use.

The AeroVironment charging stations to be deployed wearing the Milbank logos will be MEVSE-RS Level 2 charging docks for home and business, Dual- and quad-port MEVSE-RS configurations for multiple EV charging, MEVSE-RS+ smart charging dock and Level 3 DC EV50-PS and EV50-FS.

“AeroVironment has been continuously innovating in the electric vehicle space for decades," said Lavon Winkler, Milbank CEO. "We share a common vision with AeroVironment to provide an end-to-end solution that ensures complete peace of mind for EV drivers, so they can literally charge up and go.”

Aside for deploying the chargers, the tie-up between the two companies will open the doors for all electrical contractor from the US to get its hands on charger and related componentry directly from Milbank, without having to become part of the AeroVironment network.

“Milbank has been servicing the electric utility and wholesale distribution industries for more than 80 years,"
said Tim Conver, AeroVironment CEO.

“Combining Milbank's extensive network in 50 states and AeroVironment's EV charging leadership, this partnership will significantly expand access for Americans to charge their EVs anywhere, any time ' and with proven and reliable solutions.”
