ADV1 Wheels Add Class to RWB Widebody Porsche 993 Turbo

The 991 generation of Porsche's sportscar is a masterpiece of German engineering, as exciting to drive as it is to look at. However, there are some fans for whom only the classics will do – small, pure and hanging their air-cooled engines right over the back end. For them, we have a little gem of a car.

This is a 993 Turbo that's been kitted out with some amazing cosmetic parts. Subtle is not a word anybody could ever use to describe it, and yet it's still a classic. One element that makes this blue coupe unique is a new set of custom wheels from ADV1. More specifically, they're the ADV10TS, sized 18×10.5 inch at the front and 19×13 inch at the rear. The bronze finish is a very nice touch, complementing the color of the body and somehow evoking a rally them.

As for the body kit, hardcore fans of the widebody look will immediately spot this is a RWB. Rauh-Welt Begriff, a Japanese company founded by Akira Nakai, makes some of the most radical mods available for a Porsche, but only if it's a classic.

RWB also does suspension, engine and transmission modifications, but we honestly have no idea what's going on with the 3.3-liter turbo engine at the back of this car. Though judging from the Pirelli P Zero high performance tires and the massive exhaust tips, we'd wager this 993 keeps up with the young guns.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
