Adrian Sutil to Drive a Techart Porsche 911 GT2

The partnership between the German tuners at Techart and Formula One racing driver Adrian Sutil has recently been extended, as Sutil will be driving a Techart-individualized Porsche 911 GT2 off the track. Sutil, who is also brand ambassador for Techart, has helped the company in the fields of vehicle development and the extension of various product components.

“We are very pleased to extend the successful cooperation with one of the most popular racing drivers in Germany,” Marc Herdtle, head of marketing at Techart, said in a release.

The Techart tuning program for the Porsche 911 GT2 includes the Aerodynamic Kit I, the multifunctional Techart daytime running light system, the Techart sport tailpipes or the forged Formula III light alloy wheels.

The Techart engine kit TA 097/T1.2 gives the GT2 an extra push of 50 horsepower, which means that Adrian Sutil will have 580 horsepower to play with. He will also be enjoying 800 Nm of peak torque and a top speed of 211 mph (339 km/h).

The 27-year-old Formula One driver will also be feeling extremely comfortable inside the car, thanks to the Techart leather interior in black. Decorative stitching in white and trims in carbon also come to complete the elegant look. Additional accessories such as aluminum sport pedals, the Techart 3-spokes sport steering wheel and illuminated door entry guards round off the sporty interior.

The Individualization Program for the Porsche 911 GT2 was awarded "AutoBild Sportscar of the Year 2009."

“I am glad to continue the working relationship with Techart. The unique Techart Individualization options are fantastic. I will enjoy every single kilometre in my dream car,”
said Sutil.
