Besides being a comedian, television host and radio personality, Adam Carolla is also an automobile enthusiast and collector. He owns two Lamborghini Miuras and a handful of other rare Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martin-badged classic supercars and his collection is said to comprise over 20 vehicles.
We don’t know whether Adam is into the 2014 SRT Viper or not, but his latest CarCast video features the company’s brand new TA model (Time Attack), which smashed the Corvette ZR1’s lap record at the Laguna Seca Raceway earlier this year. Don’t worry if Carolla is not your cup of tea in terms of comedy, the video also features Ralph Gilles, president and CEO of SRT, who pretty much gives a walkaround of the limited edition Viper TA.
As a reminder, the 2014 Viper TA is powered by the same 8.4-liter V10 engine but delivers more oomph as it’s lighter than the regular model. SRT will build only 33 examples, all painted in Crusher Orange. Head below to watch the video
