Well, it seems that an African American actor who didn’t receive the role of the salesperson is pretty angry with allegedly being refused for being too dark. TMZ has published a copy of the casting call sheet, which states that they were looking for an actor that was supposed to be “"Nice looking, friendly. Not too dark".
The website explains that Acura has not offered a response to this, but a person that was linked to the casting explained that the skin color restriction "was because lighting and special effects would get tricky".
