Acura NSX Superbowl Ad: Racism Accusations

Acura NSX Superbowl Ad casting call
A finger is being pointed at Acura’s commercial for this year’s Superbowl, with the producers being accused of racism. We’ll remind you that alongside Jerry Seinfeld and Jay Leno, a salesman also appeared in the clip.
Well, it seems that an African American actor who didn’t receive the role of the salesperson is pretty angry with allegedly being refused for being too dark. TMZ has published a copy of the casting call sheet, which states that they were looking for an actor that was supposed to be “"Nice looking, friendly. Not too dark".

The website explains that Acura has not offered a response to this, but a person that was linked to the casting explained that the skin color restriction "was because lighting and special effects would get tricky".
