Acura is once again confirming that they are going to go through with the NSX and put it into production, but this time they do it with the aid of a commercial for the upcoming Super Bowl. The ad features an impatient Jerry Seinfeld who wants to be the first to own the new car, but is beat to it by Jay Leno.
But by the looks of things, both Jerry and Jay will be old men by the time this car enters production in 2015. What’s more, we’re not sure they would appreciate a supercar that comes with a hybrid drive system.
"This Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system will make NSX the ultimate expression of Acura's idea to create synergy between man and machine," said Takanobu Ito, president and CEO of Honda Motor. "The NSX will make the driver one with the car to enhance dynamic driving abilities without getting in the way."
