If you threw a glance at this first-generation NSX and started wondering what sorcery allowed the mid-engined machine to display this sort of appearance, you were on the right path: there's more to this than a set of air springs.
The machine came to our attention thanks to Kazuki Ohashi, a gearhead who constantly makes efforts to popularize such ground-hugging toys (more on this below). We're probably looking at a Honda, not an Acura here, with the sportscar having been modded over in the Land of the Rising sun.
Nevertheless, this was built as a demo car that showcases the latest "P4" development of Japanese air suspension specialist Prazis.
As for that edge mentioned above, we have to start by reminding everybody that the original NSX was the first production car to sport an all-aluminum semi-monocoque. Well, this example has seen its inner arches being raised by 20 mm (that would be 0.79 inches), which allows those massive wheels (the size hasn't been specified yet) to go deeper.
Of course, the black and white color scheme of the vehicle, which sees the color of the roof and pillars reducing the perceived height of the vehicle, also helps with the low-and-then-some look.
So far, we've only received two pics that showcase the car, since this development is as fresh as they get. And here’s to hoping extra photos land soon, since, for instance, we’re curious to see how high the setup allows the car to go.
Now, if this NSX appears controversial, perhaps it would be best to steer clear of the said aficioando's previous builds, which even include poster cars like the Ferrari Testarossa and the Lamborghini Diablo.
