Actress Alexandra Daddario Praises the 911: “It’s the Spirit of Porsche”

Using a celebrity to convey a message is not a new trick. Everyone who can afford to use a famous person does it, from the cosmetic to the fashion, and even the automotive industry. And Porsche is one of the brands that often collaborate with celebrities.

“Brand ambassadors,” that's what they call it. Frequently, the term is reserved for big brands that can afford to get a big celebrity name linked to their product.

And Porsche is no stranger to this, having worked with many famous names, the list currently including tennis stars Emma Raducanu and Angelique Kerber, Australian race car driver Mark Webber, English golfer Paul Casey, and soccer player Sami Khedira.

For a new ad, they got actress Alexandra Daddario to speak on the performance and spirit of a Porsche-branded model. The short video, which lasts less than a minute, follows the Porsche 911 on different types of surfaces, be it on the open road or track.

Alexandra says that every car from the German brand has “the soul of a sports car.” But there is one model that stands out: the Porsche 911, which has been “perfected since 1963.” With the engine in the back and more than one million units sold so far, it’s available in a multitude of options, whether it’s a two- or a four-seater, comes with rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, a coupe, or a convertible. She goes to call the 911 “the spirit of Porsche.

In the video, she appears next to a 718 Cayman GT4 and a 911 Turbo. Other sports cars we see are the 911 Carrera, the 718 Spyder, and the 718 Boxster.

This time, she doesn’t hop behind the wheel of any of them, but she did in the past. Back in November 2021, the actress tried out a Porsche with the racecar driver Johnny Kanavas AKA Johnny K in the driver’s seat, which you can see attached below.
