Even though the guys from Activ Autowerke might not be the authority in aftermarket exhaust systems, that doesn't stop them from trying to create the perfect one, does it?
The F10 M5 sure has some problems in this area. As fast and brutal as the car is, when it comes to making itself noticeable on the street it lacks that high-pitched sound, that hair raising, ear-deafening sensation that we're used to from the E60 model.
That's the biggest issue with the current M5. And for that, the Active Autowerke crew just put together and finished a custom exhaust system that sounds pretty good. Sure, it's no Eisenmann or Akrapovic, but it's still pretty good.
Unfortunately, it looks like this is just a project at the moment, as we couldn't find the system showcased in the video below on their website. All we could muster were S63 downpipes for $1,800.
