Even though the E60 M5 has been pulled out of production for nearly 4 years, the car is still very popular and attractive, especially for tuners.
The E60 M5 Signature Exhaust system has been released this year by Active Autowerke. The American company says that their new kit will provide a better airflow than the standard M5 factory exhaust, adding 17 HP to the car's 500.
The main improvements brought on by the Active Autowerke system are: considerable weight reduction, high durability, optimal power increase and a Formula 1 sound.
The system is built using 3-inch diameter pipes made completely out of polished 304 stainless steel and, to top it all off, the tips are completely redesigned, measuring 93 mm at the back and boasting the Autowerke signature. The factory fit specifications of this new tuning kit make it easy to install, just by changing bolts (no cutting required).
The price tag for the E60 M5 Signature Exhaust by Active Autowerke is $2,975 at its worth every penny.
