Have you ever had a dream of selling your apartment and travel the world in a motorhome? It's one of the most fulfilling things one can do in his lifetime, a middle finger salute to what it means to live in the city and work a 9-to-5 job. But to live the freewheeling life you'll need a capable motorhome like this $850,000 behemoth coming from Austria.
Cue the Action Mobil Global XRS 7200, otherwise known as the most badass camper van money can buy. Of course, there are more extreme motorhomes out there, but the 18-tonne (39,680 lbs) XRS 7200 has everything you and your significant other need to spend some quality time together in the countryside. Of course, the weight of this beast prompted the Austrian company to fit an equally massive 720 HP engine for good measure.

The luxurious camper is a 6x6 marauder with 23 square feet of living space. Unlike other recreational vehicles, this RV has more in common with military hardware rather than a Ford Transit-based motorhome. Everything that's under the boxy shell is heavy-duty grade, and there's even a rack for your motorcycle to keep you entertained whenever the mood is right. If you fancy, the XRS 7200 can also accommodate a Suzuki Jimny because that's easier to park at Asda than this humongous apartment on six wheels.

According to Stephan Wirths, the managing director of Action Mobil, his company sold more than 300 examples of the beast so far. Mind you, we don't know how many were kitted with the hydraulic lifts for the motorcycle and Suzuki Jimny. One thing is certain, though – all of them boast a 190-gallon (719 liters) water tank. That should be enough clean H2O for drinking, showering, and flushing the toilet.

So there you have it – the Action Mobil Global XRS 7200 is here to bring comfort to those who like to travel to the farthest stretches of wilderness. The MAN chassis-based giant also comes with a 40-inch HD television and Apple TV media streaming, if that kind of thing floats your boat when you travel to the Atacama Desert. Don't know about you, but we want one. Dear Santa, you know what to do.
