Ace Cafe Suzuki Day Announced

Celebrating 25 years of the GSX-R sports bike range and 50 years of International racing in 2010, Suzuki’s British division announced it is preparing a special day to mark the anniversaries. Planned for June 20, the day will feature a host of attractions, centered around Suzuki's exhibition unit.

With a Suzuki concourse event, test rides through Bikesafe on selected models, special Superbike rider appearances, a goodie bag competition, as well as a special offer that rewards the first 100 attendees with a complimentary £5.00 breakfast voucher, the event is expected to be a success.

However, in order to qualify for the test ride, participants must hold and show a valid, clean UK driving license (both parts) on the day. Suzuki also announced that damage / theft is not covered.

"Naturally we're delighted to put another date in the diary for Suzuki fans. With many events already scheduled for this summer to celebrate both of our milestones, this event looks set to be a great social gathering for Suzuki fans and of course a great destination for a ride-out," Suzuki GB marketing manager, George Cheeseman, said in a release.

Suzuki also held a three special all-star track days on April 7 at Brands Hatch to celebrate 25 years of the ‘gixxer’. Attendants were given riding tips from the current BSB racers and three-times BSB Champ John Reynolds.

So far, the company also released three special and limited editions of the GSX-Rs, namely the GSX-R750, GSX-R1000 and the GSX-R600 machines, which were available to potential customers through an online reservations process.
