AC Schnitzer Tunes Range Rover Sport for Geneva

Aachen tuner AC Schnitzer is best known for projects that involve BMW, but even they couldn't resist the temptation of having the biggest, baddest British SUV around wearing their name. Thus, the brand new Range Rover Sport launched just last year has received a full blend of subtle enhancements in the style we usually see on X5s.

The project, which will be revealed at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, starts out with the base V6 3.0-liter diesel, which is by far the most popular with average European customers. The tuner won't say how much power has been found until they actually put the kit on sale this summer, but expect significantly more than the standard 292 hp. Later on, the Germans will work their dyno magic on the other engines, hopefully going all the way up to the Supercharged model.

AC Schnitzer has not made any radical changes to the vehicle, instead opting for tweaks. These include a lowered suspension, new sports exhaust system, aero bits for the front and rear bumper and most importantly a full range of different alloy wheel designs.

For Geneva, the sporty SUV has been dressed in bright orange with black chosen for the roof and pillars for contrast.
