As we told you earlier, BMW expert tuner, AC Schnitzer worked on a concept called Tune It! Safe! with the Association of German Vehicle Tuners (VDAT) and the Essen Motor Show 2013 was the perfect moment to launch it.
We saw the video before but the real-life car looks absolutely glorious, as you’re about to witness thanks to our photo gallery.
The car was based on BMW’s 428i model, fitted with a 2-liter turbocharged engine that develops 245 HP and 350 Nm of torque is stock form. The ACS version has 294 HP and 420 Nm of torque at its disposal to catch criminals.
With the new specs, the car reaches 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 5.7 seconds and goes from 80 to 180 km/h (50 mph to 112 mph) in 12.7 seconds. The top speed is still limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
The exterior ornaments were done using FOLIATEC vinyl and the roof light bar was provided by Hella, whilst everything else (wheels, aerodynamic kit, front and rear spoiler, etc) came from AC Schnitzer.
