A couple of months after BMW launched its F10 M5 Sport Sedan, German tuner AC Schnitzer released an even better version of the iconic car, the ACS5 Sport Saloon. Some lucky guy from Netherlands had the chance to witness the high-performance vehicle first hand, in Zandvoort.
Not only did he spot the car but also managed to shoot some interesting pics for a complete photo gallery of the blue monster. At the time of its release, the guys from AC Schnitzer covered the ACS5 in a 'Blue Magic' paint job with Silver accents on the hood and the roof and this one stays true to the original.
The ACS5 is even more powerful than the M5, coming out with an improved engine ECU map that takes it up to 620 HP and 790 Nm (582 lb-ft) of torque. Furthermore, the German tuner changed the exhaust tune with a completely new, custom system that will satisfy even the most pretentious of customers.
Other improvements include a new suspension, better aerodynamics due to a new carbon fibre front spoiler, rear roof spoiler, boot lid spoiler and rear diffuser. The wheels are now 21 inch Type VIII Racing-Forged ACS with Pirelli tires.
Bottom line, this is an extremely rare spotting and we thank our friend from Autogespot.nl for the photos.
