We’ve just tested the new BMW 1-Series F20 and we were pretty curious to see what a tuning project could do for this. Well, we’ll get our answer at the upcoming Essen Motor Show, when AC Schnitzer is set to reales an aftermarket package for the vehicle.
The story starts under the hood (of the diesel engines, for now), where ECU remaps and new exhausts systems bring the 118d from 143 hp to 171 hp and the 120 d from 184 hp to 210 hp. The list of tech mods also includes a lowered sport suspension and a set of 18- or 19-inch rims.
The exterior of the 1er has been fitted with a front spoiler lip, a roof spoiler, as well as optional side graphics. The cabin has also received attention, being fited with a new steering wheel, new floor mats, aluminum pedals, an aluminum i-Drive cover, as well as a new gearshift knob.
