A bit earlier, we showed what AC Schnitzer can do the the BMW 1-Series F20 and it is now time to see what the German tuner has to offer for the 6-Series, with this program also set to debut at the Essen Motor Show.
Dubbed ASC6 Coupe, the tuning kit starts with an ECU remap and a rear silencer finished in chrome for the 650i, which brings the V8 unit’s power up from 407 to 540 hp (we’ll remind you that the M5 delivers 560 hp), allowing the coupe to complete the 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) sprint in 4.3 seconds.
The braking system now uses eight-pistons for the front axle and customers are offered a multitude of lightweight alloy rims to choose from.
The exterior changes are subtle, with AC Schnitzer offering a front lip spoiler, a chrome finish for the kidney grille, as well as a reworked rear bumper. Inside the ASC6 Coupe, we find a sports steering wheel, a Black Line aluminum cover for the i-Drive controller, branded floor mats and aluminum pedals.
