We’re quite excited of everything we see at the BMW Abu Dhabi Dealership lately. One of the reasons might be that we know no two cars will ever be the same.
We spotted some ‘interesting’ 1 Series Hatches so far and even a 335i with M Performance Parts but this time we’re going our of our comfort zone and into the tuning world. Well, maybe not extreme tuning but this car is definitely not made up of BMW parts alone.
What you have before your eyes is an LCI F10 550i model that was decked with an Alpina body kit and Kelleners Sport wheels. The two companies that joined in the making of this 5er have nothing in common except for, maybe, the BMW passion that drives them both.
While Alpina is a world-renowned company with its own VIN numbers, the guys from Kelleners Sport are less known but they do make some remarkable products.
Due to the complete exterior body kit, some might actually say that this is a B5, especially since it’s a 550i model at the core, the exact same one Alpina uses for their super-sedan but according to the dealership, only the outside of the car was changed, the engine still making 450 HP and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque.
We have to admit, the combination looks rather good but we’d still prefer purebred combinations from either tuner.
