ABT Tunes Volkswagen Golf VII

It didn't take long or German tuner ABT to announce what they are capable of doing for you and your brand new Golf VII. The car has only been available in Europe for a few months and is quickly proving its as near to perfection as a c-segment hatch can be for the money.

But without a doubt, more is always better, and ABT says you can expect more from VW's engines. Two engine mods have announced, one for the 1.4 TSI, which takes it from 122 HP and 200 Nm to 160 HP and 200 Nm, the other being for the 2.0 TDI diesel, which is capable of making 170 HP and 360 Nm instead of the stock 150 HP and 320 Nm of torque.

The ABT Golf is a very distinct car that will not go unnoticed in Geneva, where it's making its official debut. The Germans have fitted it with 19-inch 50 offset wheels wrapped in 225/35 R19 tires, a quad exhaust system, sports suspension and some small cosmetic changes like a splitter, side skirts and a rear diffuser.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
