The Germans at ABT Sportsline are the biggest tuners of VW Group cars, and they have a whole bunch of Audis and Volkswagens for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show. One of the most interesting projects is for the Q3, the smallest crossover that Audi makes.
Cosmetically, the car boasts fresh bumpers, a redesigned grille, bigger quad exhaust tips and a set of ABT wheels.

On the performance side, the 2.0-liter units found under the bonnet of the Q3 have been targeted. First off, the 2.0-liter TDI diesel that makes 170 HP in its stock form now produces 205 HP. Meanwhile, the 2.0-liter TFSI petrol has been enhanced from 211 HP to a very Audi S3-like 270 HP.

We wouldn’t necessarily go for the strange wrapping, but the body kit is something that dilutes the usual Audi blandness. Provided you want to risk tuning a relatively expensive vehicle, the ABT Q3 is quite interesting.

autoevolution will be attending the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, so stay tuned for some real up close and personal shots of the vehicles, as well as for first-hand details of the motorized contraptions presented at the event.
