ABT's 700 HP Audi RS6 Debuts at Essen Motor Show

Some say that quattro cars are not as fun as RWD ones, but the sales figures will tell you otherwise. Proving once and for all that an estate can be almost as fast as a Lamborghini, Audi has put the new RS6 Avant on the map this year, with a hot new 4-liter biturbo engine under its hood.

As impressive as 560 PS might be, most tuners found that you can get a lot more if you let the eight cylinders breathe a little better. Famous VW Group tuner ABT Sportsline did just that and managed to get 700 freshly squeezed horses of power from the engine.

700 PS will get you a lot of trouble with the German police, since the super-Avant will sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

For its motor show debut, the ABT RS6 arrived in Essen wearing a coat of Daytona Grey Matte paint and new DR22 wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT 295/25 R22 tires. H&R also contributed to this project, with a lowering suspension kit that slams the car by 20 mm at the front and 40 mm at the back.
