Everybody knows that ABT is the world's biggest customizer of Audis and VWs. However, their expertise is usually in models like the Golf or A4. That hasn't stopped them from creating one very special car for Geneva.
The Germans took the new R8 facelift under their tender car and trained it into a killer. The most powerful version of the car makes 550 V10-induced horsepower, but ABT engineers wanted something extreme, so they took it to 620 HP and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque.
With that am mount of power and some grippy tires on, the R8 hoes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 202 mph (325 km/h). That's the power of German engineering!
To ensure that the 2013 R8 not looks the part but also handles, it's been lightened by replacing stock panels with carbon fiber elements, such as wide skirts, hood, front and rear apron, rear wing and a big spoiler. Both the suspension and wheels have been upgraded to the latest ABT technology which you too can buy for your supercar.
