As the premiere provider of aftermarket kits for VW Group cars, ABT has worked with every Audi there is, including the mighty R8. There's never been a shortage of ABT R8 buyers, but this one is a little different.
First shown at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, the new GTR kit focuses on the R8's new look, its hexagonal grille and LED lights. When they launched the facelift, Audi was a little shy in giving the R8 more power. The best you can expect is 550 V10-induced horsepower, but ABT engineers wanted something extreme, so they took it to 620 HP and 550 Nm (405 lb-ft) of torque.

During his tour of Europe, Supercar spotter Shmee150, himself an R8 owner, filmed the ABT R8 GTR as it arrived for Top Marques Monaco.

Even though it's filmed at night, you can still make out all the dramatic visual changes, like the new bumpers, skirts, bonnet, rear deck area, a large wing, wheels and exhaust layout. Better than stock? Definitely!

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
