ABT Audi TT RS Boosted to 501 hp

ABT Sportsline has modified its tuned version of the Audi TT RS. Long story short: the TT RS Delivers 340 hp in stock condition and 420 hp when tuned by the ABT, with the new modification package bringing the output to 501 hp.

Dubbed the ABT POWER S, the new tuning package comes with all the contents of the previous one, adding a new turbocharger.

“Driving enjoyment, sportiness and the feeling of DTM and ADAC GT Masters champions - at ABT the abbreviation “RS” now more than ever stands for Racing Sport. Christian Abt is responsible for the excellent driving characteristics and perfect tuning of the ABT TT-RS. “Maximum motorsport feeling with maximum everyday usability” - that is how the experienced racing driver characterises the features of the new vehicle from Bavaria," stated the press release.

As expected, the 500 hp rating allows both the Coupe and the Cabrio versions of the TT RS to deliver staggering performance. The car can deal with the 0 to 62 mph sprint in four seconds and can keep on accelerating untill it reaches 181 mph (292 km/h).

The tuner offers a set of 19 and 20 inch BR and CR Superlight alloy rims for the TT RS. These use a dynamic design that accentuates the car’s sporty lines and are fitted with high performance tires.

“The car is controllable in all situations. Only by ensuring this is it also fun to drive a sports car on the road,” Christiab Abt, the owner of the company, said.
