To celebrate the success of the re-born Abarth brand and the hotter version of the little 500 in particular, Fiat has gone all hardcore with a racing version of the car.
Called the Abarth 695 Assetto Corse, it’s built on the awesome Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari, but with a stripped-dow approach that’s needed for track racing.

The hot supermini will take to the track with a massive 204 hp from it’s race-tuned 1.4-liter turbo four-cylinder. The new car will pair up with the 500 “Assetto Corse”, the successful star of the track over the past three years.

It will come better brakes, a racing transmission and suspension and the all the other safety features it needs in order to comply with the FIA regulations.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
