Two new editions of the Fiat 500 Abarth have been made available in Britain, for those who really want to wizz around town in perfect Italian style. The models in question are the Abarth 595 Turismo and 595 Competizione, both of which come standard with the tuned 1.4-liter T-Jet with the power kit that brings it to 160 hp.
Bolth also get the same sort of performance: 0 to 100km/h (62mph) in 7.4 seconds while offering a top speed of 211km/h (131mph).
However, where things get spiced up a bit is in the cosmetics department, where the 595 Turismo is finishd in a two-tone black on red scheme. It’s also set off by 17-inch wheels and other exterior cosmetic tweaks. The interior comes with the same colors combination - red and black leather seats, dash and steering wheel. Instead of the shifter, you get electrically operated manual transmission with a control panel like that seen on Lamborghinis.
Meanwhile, the 595 Competizione is only fitted with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The body of the car is finished in Grigio Record. The 17-inch alloy wheels hide a set of yellow Brembo brake calipers. Inside, you get brown leather and Alcantara.
