Abandoned Maybach 57 Gathers Dust in Monaco

Have you heard any good “fisherman’s stories” from the automotive world? People tell all sort of stories, like the one about the Mercedes SLS being based on a defunct Viper project. Most belong in the kindergarden playground, but some are actually true.
We’ve heard stories about abandoned supercas and luxury automobiles in the bast, but never believed them. Still, it’s all real, and as you can see we have proof. Supercar spotter Marchettino filmed this Maybach 57 that was sitting dormant in a Monaco parking lot.

In all that time, it gathered a whole lot of dust, which was used by people to write swearing. The emblem on the bonnet has been pulled out and is probably in some kid’s treasure chest right now.

The air suspension seems to be broken, as the car is sitting too low, and the camber of the rear wheels it too obvious.

So what do you think, is the owner “sleeping with the fishes”?
