The McLaren F1 remains, even after all these years, one of the best, if not the best, hypercar ever produced. Introduced in 1992 and debuted in 1993, only 64 examples of this no-compromise machine were ever made until production wrapped in 1998.
To be more accurate, McLaren built 106 examples of the F1 during the entire production run, of which only 64 were road legal. Of these 64, only seven were sold in the United States, and the one currently on the market was among them—this, to give you an idea of just how special it is.

Completed in 1995, it is available through ISSIMI, a second-hand supercar dealer with offices in San Francisco Bay Area and Europe. It is described in no humble terms: this is the car any collector worth his or her salt should get. On the condition he or she can afford it: given their rarity and exceptional build, McLaren F1s can sell for as much as $20+ million.

According to the listing, this F1 comes with a clear and well-documented history from new and has had two owners so far. The carbon fiber body is painted cherry red, and the interior is dark with red accents. Under the hood sits the 6.1-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine by BMW, producing 618 hp and 429 lb-ft (650 Nm) of torque, redlining at 7,500 rpm.

There’s no mention of mileage, but the listing notes that it “has covered enough mileage to be usable, making it the ideal example for a new owner seeking to pile on miles, just like Gordon Murray intended.” It has also been “obsessively serviced” and “superbly maintained.”

But you don’t have to take anyone’s word for it: perhaps to compensate for the lack of details, ISSIMI provides a video review of the example in question. Narrated by Derek Tam-Scott, it is available in full below and includes, in addition to plenty of gorgeous visuals and even more gorgeous audio, a history of the F1.

Details on pricing are only available on request.
