Famous designer Henrik Fisker, best known for his contribution to important projects such as the BMW Z8, Aston Martin DB9, the V8 Vantage, or the Fisker Karma Hybrid, teamed up with Italian ship builder Benetti and has now released his first sketch of a 164-foot-long yacht.
The very luxurious yachts will be built in Livorno, Italy, following a design created in California, and will be characterized by a sharp and aggressive design with dramatic lines at the exterior, an expansive front deck, and a cabin at the rear.
All of these superyachts are designed to be as eco-friendly as possible thanks to the use of lightweight carbon fiber, other exotic materials, reclaimed wood, integrated solar panels, and optional hybrid power.
The interior of each one of the three decks will be made out of sustainable materials and will incorporate the latest technology, automated controls, and optimal power management.
The 164-foot-long yacht will also have a beach club, spa, several bars, a pool and multiple sunbathing areas. Six accommodation areas will guest up to 12 people, and all the major cabins will have an ocean view.
We won’t have to wait too long to see this new concept, as it will be revealed at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2016, Charterworld reports.
Henrik Fisker Design was founded in 2013, and since then it has been involved in developing designs for numerous categories, such as luxury travel, automotive, furniture, smart devices or architectural design.
Fisker’s latest creation when it comes to automobiles is the Force 1, a car that will be powered by one of the world’s most powerful naturally-aspirated engines, most likely a V10, and which will be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in January 2016.
The acclaimed designer is not the first to expand his experience beyond the automotive world, as earlier this month Bugatti announced a partnership with Palmer Johnson for a luxurious yacht called Niniette, as a tribute to Ettore Bugatti’s daughter.
