There are places in this world that are not accessible year-round, and some of them are unavailable for a few hours in a day.
One of these locations is Holy Island, near Edinburgh, where a drone managed to capture stunning footage. Its operator, a 41-year-old man named Mark Bradshaw, must have been aware of how the tide rises and makes the road impossible to use by vehicles with wheels. A moment of inspiration later, and the drone was airborne and filming an Uber trip gone wrong.

The unfortunate Uber driver was carrying multiple passengers to the Holy Island, including a Buddhist monk. Fortunately for them, there was a God, so to speak, as the road did have a small point where it was just above the tide.

While some might think that going to a place called Holy Island and doing it with a monk on board should be enough to help you fight the forces of nature, it appears that it is not true.

Unlike isolated places in the world, drivers are warned by signs to check high tide time to prevent getting caught by the rising sea water. We are not sure if you realize this, but the individuals in the video were risking their lives because they were not informed, or they blatantly disobeyed warnings.

Fortunately for everyone involved, a lifeboat with rescuers quickly arrived to assist the stranded people. The Brits at The Mirror have not revealed how did the driver get his car back, but we presume that the small island on the road managed to protect the vehicle until the water settled.

So, if there is a lesson in this, always remember to be well notified about your destination. Whether it is a dangerous neighborhood, or a place where the tide makes the road go away, be informed.
